A Welsh University Health Board will be utilising the iFIT™ platform to extend its health records logistics coverage to a second hospital within the region.
iFIT™ significantly reduces occurrences of missing case notes as well as support NHS trusts and Health Boards across the UK in achieving their cost improvement programme targets and in establishing GS1 compliancy.
Welsh Health Boards however face the additional challenge of generally running a dispersed service, operating over a very large, mostly rural region. Transporting patient records, supplies, clinical and non-clinical assets across the large distances between hospital settings is costly. iFIT™ improves the communication between these dispersed hospitals and streamlines their processes, allowing them to collaborate more efficiently in order to improve the patient experience.
A formal press release providing details of the Health Board will be released in due course.
