Idox Health is delighted to announce it has been shortlisted for The Lord Carter Award for Innovation – an accolade that recognises the new technologies and work practices that are helping NHS Trusts deliver significant financial, efficiency and operational savings.
The company’s iFIT solution – a GS1-compliant healthcare logistics management platform that facilitates the efficient tracking and retrieval of records and assets – was at the heart of the submission, and is already playing a pivotal role nationwide helping Trusts improve patient experience and meet Cost Improvement Targets.
Karen Cuschieri, Business Development Director from Idox Health said: “The iFIT solution is a great example of how technology can provide an effective solution to a very pressing need. Being able to track and pull assets and records in a timely manner is essential for sustaining high-quality care and operating more efficiently – iFIT provides clinicians with the tools to facilitate both. Being shortlisted for such a prestigious award is testimony to the platform’s value to the health sector and its ability to revolutionise hospital processes for the benefit of both patients and clinicians alike.”
The winner will be announced at Hospital Innovations – a conference attended by NHS leaders and decision makers – on 6 June at UCL London.
