Homerton University Hospital improves its’ HIV Services with Climate-HIV

6PM is pleased to announce that its clinical product Climate-HIV is now also live at Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Climate-HIV is a joint venture between 6PM and the North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust. The product is a specialised Electronic Care Record (ECR) system for HIV medicine. Having all the patients’ data in an EPR provides all the clinical team with a fast access to patient data, helps educate the patient, reduces the administration time needed to write GP letters and referrals and records all the patient information in one place.

Climate-HIV will help make Homerton University Hospital paper-light and is another step towards a complete electronic patient record. It will also help the Trust to become one of the HIV services fully compliant with the HIV/ AIDS Reporting System (HARS) dataset from Public Health England. All audit and conformance measures are incorporated automatically to ensure improvement of the service throughout the care pathway while including the HARS data-set mandated by Public Health England.

“It is great to see yet another major HIV Centre go live with Climate-HIV and reap all the benefits that it has to offer” said Steve Wightman, Deputy CEO at 6PM.
